Video Transcoding Circuit

• BK SII models feature a high quality Video
  Transcoder circuit, which transcodes all video
  signals to the Component monitor output.
• Connect the source components with Composite,
  S-Video, or Component Video, (best available for
  each source).
• All connected sources video signals will be
  passed to the BK Component monitor output

TV Component Connections

• The TV is a monitor in this installation, there
  is no need to connect audio.
• Connect a set of Component cables from the B K
  Component OUT, to the Televisions Component
  INPUT.

  connection from the BK Component output to the
  TV
• The TV simply remains on the Component input

BK On Screen Display

• BK SII models now employ an On Screen Display
  (OSD) circuit that operates with Composite, S,
  and Component Video!

BK On Screen Display (OSD)

• Set the OSD to any of 3 options
• OFF (no OSD)
• Full OSD (any change)
• Major Change OSD activates with major changes
  only
• OSD will replace source video with a blue OSD
  screen, and then time out back to the source
  picture.

RS-232 Capability

• BK SII Models are full 2-way RS-232
• Uses include external control (Crestron), PC
  programming with BKcSuite, and Archiving of
  customer settings.

Improved RS-232 Capability

• RS-232 choices now include
• Full Auto (with automatic status update)
• Normal (as before)
• OFF (no RS-232)
• Can be adjusted in the OSD setup menu or by PC
  with the BKcSuite

12 Volt Triggers

• There are 4 Control Out jacks on the back
  panel.
• These are 12volt DC trigger outputs that can be
  used to trigger power on to many external
  devices.
• Below is the factory default settings for Control
  out 1 2.
• Zone 1 Amp On (1)
• Zone 2 Amp On (2)
• IR Flasher output (4)

• BK system Presets are instant setting
  snapshots of all adjustable settings in unit.
• Each of the 40 Presets exponentially increase
  speed reliability of Macro commands

Using the SPL Meter

• Set the SPL meter to use 75 dB SPL, C Weighting
  and SLOW response.
• Take measurements with the meter pointing
  straight up from the best seat in the house.
