11SFHS College Application Process
- Apply on-line and pay application fee to at least
three colleges (minimally, modestly, and most
competitive) - Request official transcript by completing
Transcript Request form and submitting addressed
and stamped envelope(s) to Caroline Maready,
Counseling Secretary - Request official scores from SAT or ACT, if you
did not specify college(s) on the test
registration form - Request recommendations as needed from counselors
and teachers and submit Senior Profile and High
School Resume - Allow two- three-week turnaround.
12Student Responsibilities
- Make sure on-line application is complete and
correct. Proofread! - Have SAT/ACT scores sent directly to college from
the appropriate testing service - Request official transcript in a timely manner
- Acquire counselor and/or teacher recommendation,
only if required by the college. A Senior
Profile and High School resume must be submitted
to the counselor or teacher from whom you request
a recommendation.

credits attempted in English, Math, Science,
Social Studies, and Foreign Language. - Courses weighted in GPA calculation are AP only
(.5 weight). - Covers tuition, fees a book allowance at
Georgia public institutions. - Pays 3000.00 a tuition equalization to Georgia
