    (ENERGY).

3
INSPIRATION from KENT
The animal kingdom has in itself the image of
sickness, and the vegetable and mineral kingdoms
in like manner, and if man were perfectly
conversant with the substances of these three
kingdoms he could treat the whole human race.
(Kent, Lectures on Philosophy, Chapter 4)
4
CASE ONE
  • 54 Year Old Woman.
  • Observation Loquacious, Cheerful, Loud,
    Energetic, Laughing.
  • CHIEF COMPLANT Chronic Hives plus Upper
Respiratory Allergies w/ Chest Tightness, Slight
    Goiter, TMJ. (L1)
  • Hives since she was about 10-12 years old. Has
been on antihistamine of one sort or another
since this time. Currently on Zyrtec and Allegra
if not taken daily, she will be covered with
    hives. (L1)

  • Generally She is Very Warmblooded Prefers
    Cool, Overcast Days. (L2)

6
EXPERIENCE of the HIVES?
  • They make you crazy. (L3) I feel like I am
allergic to myself. I feel like an alien among
humans. (L4) I cant go outside unless I am
totally covered or it is cloudy.
  • You cant think of a/t else. It can take over
everything. I had one on my hand once, so itchy,
and I just chewed it off -- it had to go. Its
like an animal caught in a trap -- you chew off
your foot to get it off you. (L4) (BG
    Demonstrates Chewing Hand)
  • That hive on my hand -- so focused on that hive
-- it took over my whole body. (L4) I had to
remove that thing. If I couldnt remove it, I
would go insane. (L3) I had to get it off. Not
being able to rid of it is not an option that
    Desperate. (Hint of Miasm)

7
  • Tell More about this allergic to self, like an
alien, like an animal in a trap, take over e/t,
get it off, drive you crazy?
  • Like s/t I get dried skin on my fingers -- I
have to chew that off. I constantly pick even
though it hurts. (HG - Demonstrates)
  • You feel it is not right (HG Fist) --
something that doesnt belong that makes the
fingers rough where they should be smooth. If I
dont remove it, it will make me crazy. (L3) I
will work it till it is gone.
  • Tell a bit more?

8
  • A/t that you feel is not right you want to get
rid of that -- you do it without thinking about
it even though it hurts. I bite to get the rough
stuff off and smooth it out. (HG Biting Nails)
  • Like if I get dried skin on my lips I will
chew at it till it's gone cause it will drive
    me crazy. (L3)
  • Drive you crazy?
  • Absolutely crazy. It feels so abnormal, out of
place. It needs to come and be smooth. (HG
    Hand makes horizontal smooth motion.)

9
  • Smooth?
  • Like when get a sunburn (HG Fingers together
like picking s/t off. ) as a kid and you have to
peel off all that skin. You have to keep working
off this thing that doesnt belong.
  • Doesn't Belong?
  • Like getting dried paint on your hands -- drives
me crazy. I am always washing things off me.
I dont like dirty. I'm a hard worker though my
house not always so clean. Recently we took away
the sticky traps cause of my grandson.
    (Interesting Non sequitur??)

10
  • I don't follow?
  • The other night, there was a mouse in the study
I was out of there they crawl up on you (HG
Fingers like playing a piano -- Cringe). Ran up
    my husband's leg dancing a jig. I don't want
them on me! They bite and chew you.
  • This doesn't belong?
  • I hate anything on me I hate to wear gloves,
being covered up, shoes, a hat. I'm hot. It
feels like it's not supposed to be there needs
to be gone. I don't like to feel encumbered. I
    don't even like underwear.
  • It's a weight. It sits on your body. (HG -
    Fist)

11
  • Little more about this?
  • I even hate my hair touching my face why I use
hair spray. When things touch my skin (HG
Wiggly Fingers) tickly -- it feels just like the
when the hives are about to erupt.
  • Very irritating wherever things touch me can
feel the itch. I'm like the Princess and the
Pea. (L4) Tickly. I need things to be smooth
and nothing on me. It doesn't belong there it
needs to go. (Hint of Misam)

12
VITAL EXPRESSION
  • S/t on me that doesn't belong.
  • Chew.
  • HG Fist and Wiggly Fingers.
  • Smooth and Tickly.

13
  • What is the Worst Case scenario of s/t on you,
    this tickly, smooth, like HG's?
  • The times I have had s/t on me there is no
conscious thought. I go crazy to get it off. A
spider is the absolute worst. (HG - Fist)
  • If a spider is on me I want it dead. Once it
is on me I don't want it to live to reproduce.
It has crossed a line it has evolved into a
thing that comes on me. (L4) Once that happens,
I must stop that evolutionary process so it
doesn't make more things that come on me. I must
stop it! (Miasm Desperate, Radical Change). (HG
    Using hands to talk).

14
  • Experience?
  • Can't breath, would drive my car off the road.
If I don't get it off I will probably have a
heart attack. Like that Fox in the trap (L4)
I must get it off. I have to do that one thing
to survive. I have to do it get it off. (L5)
  • (Talking with Hands Breathing Accelerated)

15
ANIMAL KINGDOM
  • One thing to Survive.
  • Previous Hints of It takes you over, It's
separate from you (the hives, the dried skin).
  • Something that Doesn't Belong on you will be the
    End of You.

16
MIASM
  • Desperate.
  • Radical and Violent Change is Required.
  • Feels Trapped and Can't Breath.
  • TUBERCULAR

17
  • Tell more about Spiders on You?
  • The ones that live outside can live. I don't go
in their habitat they shouldn't come into mine.
    (HG - Fist)
  • If it jumps off me and hides I know it will
come back I must kill it. I need to see a
carcass. I need proof it is dead. And not
injured and hiding. Once they are that type of
spider, they will come back. They have claimed
the space me as their own. You have to do
away with them. (HG Fist) (L6)
  • Had this spider in my kitchen I couldn't catch
him. He would taunt me hang a leg out of
crevice he was in. Used e/t he was sneaky.
They're not stupid you know. Finally caulked him
    in.

18
  • Have mini vacs in every room of the house. You
can't turn your back on them. Spray them w/
    Hairspray to slow them down.
  • More of this experience of Spiders on you?
  • (HG Wiggly fingers) -- They do things with
their legs. Scramble. Jump and land on you out
of trees and off walls. They stick to you. No
place they can't go. (HG Fist). (L6)
  • I have to know everything about the thing I'm
afraid of. I watch nature programs about spiders
though have to shield my face. Spiders are the
worst thing on earth supposed to have a purpose
but I don't care. They are disgusting. (Fist)

19
  • Experience of the spider on you?
  • I get queasy, I can't breath, I want that moment
to end. It could get on me, it could bite me,
get in my hair. They hide and lay in wait. They
could bite you not that they'd eat you not
unless there were a bunch. My response is
danger. They drop down on you.
  • HG Fingers and Fist?
  • Gripping legs and teeth, feels weird, Tickles
the skin hate that feeling, Nothing should
touch me. I love a breeze cause I'm hot but it
makes the hairs on the skin tickly makes my
    bangs brush my forehead tickly.
  • (HG- Fingers crawling up her arms and legs -- L6)

20
  • Tickly?
  • Creepy, Bad, Itchy (Rubbing her face). Like a
feather feeling. Makes me insane. Like Chinese
water torture. (L4) Makes my nerves tingle. It
feels like the hives erupting I can feel hives
    starting right now. (Nice Confirmation)
  • Like the Hives Erupting?
  • E/t gets hypersensitive at one point. Very
(Tickle Fingers) uncomfortable feeling. It's so
itchy. Feels like crawling on me. Drives me
insane. That lite touch the skin welts up.
The nerve endings. Lite touch not soothing I
would never get a massage though harder touch is
okay for me. Not like a mosquito bite. It is
this tickly, tingling, like a tickly, like nerves
jumping under the surface. Then the swelling
begins. Some worse some don't reach this point.
    (Local Sensation)

21
  • It's this sensation under the skin so intense
like a splinter you know is there and you have to
get it out. This foreign object (L5) that you
    have to remove. (HG-Fist)
  • Foreign object? You feel it in there like
when I was a hair dresser, the hair it would
get everywhere work itself into your body
your feet, your gums, your fingers. One girl had
a hair over 8 inches long work into her foot we
    pulled it out.
  • Foreign object?
  • I just want to be left alone I have to save me
from the foreign thing in the body. (L5) It
    could cause an inflammation, infection....

22
  • And?
  • The foreign thing could eat you you would be
food (L5) it could be hungry or nervous. The
hair could cause an infection that would eat you.
  • My fear of being eaten is huge! (L5) I don't
like to fly I hate to fly over the ocean if
you crashed, you might survive and then be eaten
by sharks. I feared this the whole time on a
    cruise being knocked overboard.
  • Fear Being Eaten?
  • I always establish dominance with animals. I am
the alpha female everywhere in my life. (L5)

23
  • The only one I answer to is my husband. He is
    the alpha male.
  • Fear of being eaten and establish dominance?
  • Animals battle to establish dominance
absolutely vital to know their place in the
world. It's very primitive all a matter of
    dominance. How they survive. (L5)
  • Eaten?
  • They sink their teeth into you rip, eat you
slowly, no escape, loose body parts. (L5-6)

24
  • Dissociate -- Read back all NHS words.
  • Large, Black, Muscular, Not Skinny Legs, Hairy,
Fast, Teeth, Jumping. Grabs them, Sinks Down,
Bite, Digestive Juices, Sucks up Liquid. Waits
and Jumps, Lives in the woods, comes out at
night. Big Black Jumper. Sneaky, that's how
they survive. They know you are there. (L6)
  • There is this story I told my son about the
gingerbread man. He wants to cross the river
but he can't and then a fox comes along and
offers to carry him across. The gingerbread man
hops on the fox's back and when they are almost
across the river gulp. There goes my leg!
Then gulp again and the fox gobbles down the
gingerbread man. The slow and the stupid. (L4)

25
  • You know these women that have this Take Back
the Night? Not that I think they deserve to be
attacked but I think you can't take back the
night You never had the night.
  • You are prey pretty much sums up my e/t. (L5)
