SNOLAB Role
  • Ensure regulatory and contractual obligations for
    all work performed at site, surface and
    Underground are met.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner
    with specific hazard assessments where
    appropriate.
  • Assist all experiments in meeting these
    regulatory and contractual obligations.

Experiment Obligations (I)

  • Provide MSDS for all materials to be taken to
    site (surface or U/G)

  • Perform risk and hazard assessment where
    warranted/requested

    required

  • Hard hat meeting current standards with
    reflective tape pattern
  • Coveralls with defined reflective strips
  • Boots CSA approved, metatarsal protection if
    working in drift
  • Safety glasses meeting defined standards
  • Belt meeting defined standards
  • No contact lenses
  • Gloves
