3Outline of the course Grades 2-4
- Classes will be taught in Spanish.
- Students will be immersed in 90 minutes Spanish
environment. - Students will use different skills in the
learning process such as exploring, organizing,
reading, listening, constructing, writing, acting
and singing in the class.

- (Each week students will learn phonetics followed
by a short story to work with and a subject per
class colors, number, family, nature, etc.) - Combination of phonetics with certain
- vowels and consonants.
- Writing and recognizing words.
- Recognition of syllables to write words.
- Organization of words to make a sentence.
- Recognition of verbs in a sentence.
- A little more work with verbs.
- Interrogative sentences.
- Augmentative and diminutive words.

- The teaching strategies used by 'Grupo Editorial
Norma Educativa' is challenging and fun. Students
will learn Spanish using different skills. This
means, just the same way a little child would
learn his/her native language. - As opposed to the traditional system, students
will build vocabulary but they will also learn
from the early stages of the learning process to
gain confidence to talk and to have fun.
