Chishtiya Order Muin ad-Din Chishti
(1141-1230) known as Gharib Nawaz is the
most famous Sufi saint of the Chishti Order of
South Asia.He taught,renunciation, strict
self-discipline, personal prayer Sama,
independence from rulers, generosity to others,
tolerance and respect for religious differences.

Shah Shahidullah Faridi (1915-1978)

    in Karachi,Pakistan for 30 years.He was a

    regarded as having great clarity and insight. One

Naqshbandiya Order
  • Naqshbandnaqsh "engravingengraving the name

    "image-maker," "Pattern Maker "Reformer of

    Naqshbandi follower has to practice his prayers

Shaykha Fariha Jerrahi
  • Born into a socially committed, eclectic Catholic
    family in Houston, in 1947. At the age of 19 she
    began a conscious search for God. Ten years later
    she met her teacher, Shaykh Muzaffer Ozak of
    Istanbul. became the disciple of Lex Hixon,
    called Shaykh Nur al-Jerrahi. Nur envisioned a
    radical and illumined path of the heart which he
    called Universal Islam. When Shaykh Nur passed in
    1995, Fariha took on the role of guiding the Nur
    Ashki Jerrahi Sufi Order.
