- Can a software or web application be used to
publish content? - Yes, the costs for the software or web
application are ineligible but the content
created may be published online and is eligible - Are the costs for the transport and disk space of
a web based application for a school eligible? - No, the cost of the application as well as any
charge associated with the creation or
modification of content is not eligible.
26Interconnected VoIP
- Interconnected VoIP is defined as a service that
- Enables real-time, two-way voice communications
- Requires a broadband connection from the users
location

- Requires Internet protocol-compatible customer
premises equipment (CPE) - Permits users generally to receive calls that
originate on the public switched telephone
network and to terminate calls to the public
switched telephone network.

or Internet Access on Form 470 - USAC highly recommends posting in both Telecom

- A leased VoIP phone system is NOT eligible for
Priority One funding - By removing the VoIP equipment, the local voice
network will cease to function. This equipment
is eligible ONLY as Internal Connections.

terminating device.
