The Guest List
An organized guest list should be created before
any other major plans are made.

Who, When, and Where?

• Basic information needs to be provided to each
  guest in the invitation,such as who is getting
  married, where the ceremony will take place, at
  what time, and directions to the site if needed.

Expenses
An organized chart of individual and total
expenses is very helpful in the planning of a
wedding.

The Caterer and Cake

• A caterer needs to be hired well before the
  wedding.
• Make sure they are aware of how many guests will
  be attending and what you would like to be
  served.
• You also need to decide how you want the cake to
  look and hire someone to make it.

Decorations

• For Will and Haleys wedding, Hanalei Colony
  Resort is proving most of the decorations such
  as a decorated archway, flower arrangements, and
  of course, the beach!
• If the site is not providing decorations you will
  need to find them on your own, just dont go
  overboard.
• Themes are always a good idea.
• Stick to the same colors as well.

Apparel

• Go shopping for the wedding dress, brides maids
  dresses, and tuxes well before the day of the
  wedding.
• Be sure the apparel looks good on each
  individual, and matches the theme of the wedding
  well too.

Photography

• Remember to hire good photographer.
• Get all the photos you want, this day only
  happens once!
• Decide if you want a video taken of the wedding
  as well, then hire a trained professional to tape
  the big day.

What Else?

• Remember to hire a DJ or band for the reception.
• You may need to find a reception site as well.
• Plan the honeymoon well in advance, as for Haley
  and Will, they are already there!
• Remember to purchase gifts for the wedding party,
  just to show how much you appreciate them.
• Always stick to your theme, and of course, your
  budget!
