    moved to Rutherford Co, NC before their 1st
    Birthday.
  • Thomas moved his family to Habersham Co, GA to be
    near the Pulliam Family and then moved them to
    Monroe Co, TN after his brother, Williams death
    in the early 1850s.
  • Thomas married Sarah Lucy (Lucille) Pulliam the
    daughter of Zachary Pulliam and Sarah Black
  • Thomas died of Cancer of the Ear and Lucy died
    from illness and injury from falling in the creek.

  • Shot in the Arm by Confederate Officer for
    smarting off to him while he was inline to sign
    up for Service in Pikeville, TN.
  • Died May 6, 1892 of complications from his
    condition following his civil war service.
  • He was at Andersonville Prison Camp, as was his,
    brother in law, James Hamilton.

  • July 5, 1849 Monroe Co, TN

  • Resided in Bradley Co, TN
  • Buried at Candies Creek Cemetery
  • Cleveland, Bradley Co, TN
  • The couple is known to have had only one son whom

  • A Niece named Rhoda Dye Geren is mentioned in the
    Will of James Brown.
