Climate

• The average weather in an area over a long period
  of time.

Climograph

• A climograph is a graphical depiction of the
  monthly precipitation and temperature conditions
  for a selected place. Precipitation is shown by
  the bar graph. A line graph depicts temperature.

Arid

• Being without moisture extremely dry parched
  arid land an arid climate.
• Ep is greater than P.

Humid

• Containing a lot of moisture.
• Heavy amounts of precipitation.

• Precipitation is usually less than 26 cm a year.

Marine Climate

• A climate dominated by the ocean. Because of the
  moderating effect of water, sites having this
  climate are considered relatively mild.

• Regions that usually experience hot summers and
  colder winters, being far away from the
  moderating influence of the ocean.

• Is a climatic and geographically defined area of
  ecologically similar communities of plants,
  animals, and soil organisms.

Windward

• The side of the mountain where wind moves upward
  and over. It experiences more precipitation.

Leeward

• It is the side of the mountain where the air
  moves down and sinks. The air warms as it sinks,
  so you usually have warmer dry air.

• It describes the general circulation of the
  atmosphere.
