TEXASONLINE VISION STATEMENT TexasOnline will
provide a single point of access to government
information and services that is private,
secure, convenient, efficient, service-oriented,
and accessible.

• TEXASONLINE RE-PROCUREMENT VISION
• The TexasOnline procurement willestablish the
  next-generation e-government infrastructure that
  implements the components requiredto support
  the TexasOnline Vision. The TexasOnline Vision
  leverages the states technology cooperative
  contracting program and the statesexisting
  investment in both computingand communications

6/1/2008 Today was quite an eventful day. The
telecommunications committee spent most of our
afternoon coming up with strategic plans to
advertise the need to distribute coupons for
digital-to-analog converter boxes in targeted
counties. Without much of a budget, we have to
take a more grassroots approach, especially for
lower income, elderly, or minority constituents.
Please send me any ideas you have! 5/29/2008
What a beautiful day! I decided to take the
afternoon off and take advantage of the gorgeous
weather by the lake. I love taking out a kayak and

  TexasOnline portal
• Provides a shared services environment in

  for distributed GIS web service applications
• Lowers government cost and time in implementing
  individual GIS web services by hosting shared
  support services and providing a catalog of
  vendor services for customers
• Reduces the need for redundant storage of large
  amounts of base map data for GIS web services
