How did life begin?
Jennie Finch was born on September 3, 1980, in La
Mirada, California.

Growing Up
Jennies parents, Doug and Bev, already had two
boys, Shane and Landon. Both loved baseball and
played competitively. It wasnt until Jennie
took up the game, however, that the family really
got serious about it.

Development of interest in softball
  • Her home town offered organized ball on a
    year-round basis. Jennie joined her first league,
    Lil Miss T-Ball, after her fifth birthday.
  • She excelled at a number of sports, but her
    greatest love was always for baseball.

Jennies family is pretty big. In this picture
her family is on the softball field having a
ceremony.

Community Camp
Jennie Finch Softball Camps offer instruction for
all positions and aspects of the game. Usually
held over a Saturday and Sunday.

Olympians, professional coaches and players.

team and she has a huge record of how fast she

Jennie Finch represented the United States at the
Olympics for the second time in her career last
summer in Beijing.
