• LOCKERS
• Pupils who have not yet paid for their lockers
  must do so by Wednesday 14 September. Otherwise
  these lockers will be reallocated to pupils who

• LAST CHANCE FOR ACHIEVEMENT CERTIFICATES
• Could all pupils who received a bronze, silver
  or gold award for the special awards ceremony
  last term and have still not collected their
  certificate please do so this week from the PE
  base at break time. (from Miss Morton)
• CALLING ALL SENIOR GIRLS 
• We have some great senior footballers in the
  school but need more girls S4-S6 to come along to
  the football club so we can have a senior team
  this year.  No experience needed, come along for
  some fun. See Miss Morton if you are

• UNDER 15'S RUGBY 
• Well done to all the junior boys that played on
  Wednesday against Morrisons Academy. Great effort
  and we will see you on Monday for training. All

  past, present and future rugby players please see

• SWITZERLAND TRIP 09
• There will be an important meeting in C39 on
  Tuesday 15 September at interval. Please attend
  if you possibly can. If you are unable to be
  there please let Mrs Ogilvy know. Thank you.

• The deadline for payment and collection of
  project work is Friday 18 September. Any
  projects not uplifted by then will be

• Dance Club has started again every Wednesday
  after school, 3.30-5pm. All welcome.

• Any pupils wishing to audition for this years
  Fun Day X Factor should give their name to Mr
  Cunningham ASAP. If you can sing, dance, do
  magic or have some other talent please audition!!

• SPONSORED WALK (IMPORTANT!) 
• All S6 pupils should report to the lower social
  area at the beginning of period 4 on Friday 18
  September. You will receive details on the
  arrangements for the walk. We will also walk the
  route (weather permitting) in order to identify
  marshalling points. Therefore bring suitable
  clothing/shoes on the day. It is essential that
  all S6 pupils attend. (from Mr Morris)

• There will be an assembly for S6 pupils only
  (NOT S5) on Monday 21 September to go over final
  details for the sponsored walk on Friday 25th
  September and collection of sponsor money.

• S5/6 ANGUS SPECIAL PLAYSCHEME APPLICATIONS
• If any pupils wish to apply to help out at the
  Angus Special Playsheme please can you come along
  to Interview Room 1 (new build) during period 1
  on Tuesday 15 September or Period 4 on Friday 18
  September.
• You must bring your completed application form
  and as many of the following as possible- (one
  must be photographic)
• Birth Certificate
• Drivers Licence (Full or Provisional)
• National Insurance Number
• Passport
• One other form of identification which states
  your name and address

• SENIOR GAMES DAY
• This takes place on Tuesday 22 September, 2009. 
  The events take place during periods 2-4, a full
  detailed list can be viewed on the
  Interhouse Notice boards.  House Staff have the
  entry forms so enter now!  You can only
  participate in one event.  House staff are -
  Dalhousie, Mrs Bishop, Mr MacLean, Mrs Simpson. 
  Panmure - Miss Adams, Mr McCormack and Mrs
  Cromb.  Balmossie Miss Wilson.  Enter now.  Miss

• S2 GEOGRAPHY QUIZ TEAMS
• A massive thank you and well done to the 9 teams
  who took part in last Thursdays Geography Quiz
  Team competition. The winners of this event were
  Around the World in 30 Questions AKA Kenny
  Langlands and Andrew McCleary answering an
  impressive 56 out of 60 questions correctly.
  They were closely followed by Emily Griffith and
  Martin Tasker scoring 55 out of 60 and The
  Chocolate Covered Potato Globes Calum
  McDonald, Kris Ashton and Michael Craig who
  scored 54 respectively. The winners of the best
  team name went to The Peruvian Penguins from
  Paris Lorna Murphy, Cat Fomina and Megan
  Gerrie Well done girls! House points will be
  allocated soon. Prizes are now available for

• S1-S3 DANCE CLUB 
• The dance club is on Thursday lunchtimes 12.45pm
  to 1.30pm in the gym hall.  Bring a packed lunch
  or get a snappy sack from the canteen so you can
  make it in time.  New members welcome, come along
