Introduction
  • For centuries people have looked to their
religion for guidance and comfort during
    difficulties in their daily life.
  • Modern technology has caused some conflicts in
the way people view the church, also their
    personal definition or feelings toward
    Christianity and other religions.

  • While the increasing cures and solutions from
technology accelerate rapidly, many people are
beginning to believe that the need for an
everlasting and all-knowing being is unnecessary.
  • This has led some sociologists to believe that
this rising interest in technology functions
    somewhat as a religion.
  • All this leads to a dispute between scientific
facts and the teachings and beliefs of many
    religions.

4
  • There are religious leaders who have come to
believe that this growing interest in modern
technology has resurrected the search for
    religion once again.
  • Yet there are no explanations for why technology
and scientific facts convince people to question
the existence of God or other Supreme beings and
lead others to believe in the more.
  • Many major ethical and religious issues of today
    are combined with scientific experimentation
technological innovations such as stem cell
    research, genetic engineering, subjects related
    to cloning, medical technologies of
    procreation.
  • Vaticans response to these contributions was
that the international governments to ban these
    disrespectful was that the international
governments to ban these disrespectful things
    including sperm embryo banks, postmortem,
    insemination, and surrogate motherhood.

5
  • Last but not least their most well known
    disapproved modern advancement against embryo
    research and abortion.
  • One of the most expansive public statements from
the Catholic Church would be how they saw that
technology had a negative impact on their view of
human life and natural conception being sacred.

6
  • The Vaticans also insisted that the act of
    conception before marriage is wrong.
  • The condemnation of artificial conception, the
Vatican document, relies mainly on its earlier
    constraints against abortion.
  • Many Catholics do not agree with their churches
    resistance toward birth control.
  • Because of some of the Vaticans opinions and
responses to modern technologies of fertility,
has its present congregations to disregard its
    earlier teachings.
