How does it work?

• Automatic mechanism to transfer multimedia from a
  server to a client
• Uses XML files to feed Internet addresses to
  actual multimedia files
• Can be fed via RSS
• Basically like a prerecorded radio program

Using podcast

• Choose from thousands podcasts from entertaining
  to educational field
• Listen to them on the road
• Anyone can publish new podcast
• Needs special software to record one
• Most often normal MP3-audio, can be listened with
  any player
• Automatic sync between iTunes and iPod
