Introduction

• The Aim of the course is to try to give a
  comprehensive introductory flame work to
  understand the pro-life movement and the culture
  of death, in order to help pro-lifers to be able
  to understand the pro-life issues in a effective
  ways. Owing to the vast amount of information
  existing in the pro-life movement, we try to
  approach the movement looking from different
  aspects and levels so that readers may decide for
  themselves what actions to take in their
  situations.

  pro-life movement in a easy manner

  related with each other and we could bring God s
  kingdom to the world
• To show the good that they have moral
  obligation to counter the culture of death which

Key Concepts

• 1. It's an indisputable fact that human life
  begins at conception (both science and medical
  science acknowledge this). There can be no other
  starting point.
• 2. A baby is genetically complete at conception
  and is genetically different from his mother

Human being begins at conception

• Any artificial means which terminates the
  implantation of the fertilized human eggs is in
  fact an abortions
• Many so called contraceptives, e.g. IUD, morning
  after pills ( ???) are in fact abortifacient or
  an agent which causes an abortion
• Even pills can cause an abortion because it will
  affect the lining of the uterus so make it harder
  for the embryo to be implanted.

Before one knows that she is pregnant

• His heart is beating by the 25th day.
• By the 28th day his legs and arms have started
  to form as, too, his eyes and ears. His brain
  already has distinctly human features.

At 6th and 7th weeks

• In the 6th week the first bone cells appear and
  begin to replace the cartilage of his already
  complete skeleton.
• His milk teeth begin to form in the 7th week.
  Fingers thumbs, ankles and toes have also begun.

At 10th weeks baby

• By the 10th week all his limbs and organs are
  established. He can turn his head, frown, bend
  elbow and wrist independently. He is sensitive to
  touch. Even to the layman's eye he is obviously a
  human being.

• By the 12th week he can swallow, his fingernails
  have started, his ribs and vertebrae now turned
  into bone, his vocal chord complete, his
  reproductive organs well advanced. Inherited
  physical features can be discerned.

At 16th Week baby

• At 16th weeks, he is half his birth length, his
  heart pumps the rate of about 50 pints a day, his
  limbs are becoming stronger every day. He now
  looks very much like a small born baby.

At 20th 24th week

• Eyebrows and eyelashes have begun by the 5th
  month, heartbeat can be heard by stethoscope, he
  turns, kicks, sucks thumb.
