Classification Review
  • Reclassification is a request to review an
existing position. It is based on evidence of
increased work value. The work value of a
position is determined via comparison to the
    Universitys Position Classification standards
  • A proposal to reclassify a position may be made
by the supervisor or the occupant of a position.
A review is appropriate when a significant
increase in work value has occurred and when the
new duties and/or increased responsibility is
    required on an on-going basis.
