- The OMHAs development programs have been
essential in providing local coaches, trainers,
referees, and associations with the skills to
enhance a players hockey experience. - Certification clinics, Mentorship Programs,
Skills Camps, IP Festivals, Safe and Fun
Jamborees, Skills Challenges and Specialty
Clinics were all part of our programming. -

- Full implementation the Competency-based NCCP
Coaching clinics - Conducted the Lightweight Blue Puck Pilot Study
- 10 - OMHA / Hockey Canada Skills Development
Camps - Rogers Community TV documentary Making U17
- HTCP Level 1 Re-qualification Clinic for Trainers
- Ongoing implementation of the Referee Supervision
Program - Launched 3rd location of OMHA Referee School

our membership.

- Develop the Continuing Education Program (CEP)
for coaches - 4 oz. Lightweight Blue Puck for all players six
years of age and under.
10NEW STANDARD OF PLAY
- The biggest impact on minor hockey will be the
introduction of the New Rules Standard passed at
the Hockey Canada AGM this May. The goals of this
initiative are - Improved Skill Development
- Positive Hockey Experiences
- Enhance the Game for all Players
