The Main Library is in George Square. It
provides services to around 80 of the
Universitys staff, students and researchers
Main Library Redevelopment Project
3WE HAVE 15 OTHER SITES
4GETTING IN
The Ground Floor is currently closed and access
is from staircase to the left of the Library but
it will re-open during Summer School
Go along the corridor to find the entrance on
your right
5ENTRY CONTROL
There is a book-drop bin to the left of the door
for returning books when the Library is closed
Access is by swipe-card Remember to bring your
Library Card!
6STUDY FACILITIES
There are study spaces throughout the Library,
at tables, study carrels and in group study
rooms, which can be booked in advance
7COMPUTING LABS FLOOR 2, 3 AND 4
A lab supervisor is available on Floors 3 and 4
on weekdays 08. 30 -16.00
8PHOTOCOPYING AND PRINTING
There are photocopiers throughout the building.
There are shared printers alongside the computing
labs
Copycard and change machines are adjacent to the
Helpdesk 1 - 16 copies 5 - 80 copies 10 - 180
copies

Go to the Helpdesk for general advice on using
the Library and Computing services and to place
reservations for items which are out on loan The
Helpdesk will being moving back to the Ground
Floor during Summer School

We have an easy to use Self-Issue system Returns
should be made at the Helpdesk
Self-Issue is also available on Floor 4
