  • Basic laws
  • -The Constitution of 1993 (amended in 1999)
    which is the
  • highest Law of the Kingdom of Cambodia,
    contains
  • article of legal rights and benefits of
    every citizen. The
  • Royal Government has to adhere to and
    execute this
  • law article, which are relevant to
    vocational training-
  • rehabilitation and employment for PWD.
  • -Labour Law Although in this law no special
    treatment is
  • offered to PWD but it is important law to
    manage
  • contractual agreement between employees and
  • employers in which PWD are included.

The basic needs of PWD and their families are
better satisfied through long-
term benefits from skill training, income
generation and job placement program.
Goal
Sources of income generation for PWD are better
satisfied through skilled training, employment
and business opportunities.
Immediate Objective
New skills and services meet the market demand
and are effectively used and applied by the
graduates and other skilled persons.
Objective
R1 The quality of diversification types of
training meet the market demand and improved and
the refreshment course is provided to ex-trainees
R2 An appropriate system for follow up,
evaluation and reporting is established and
implemented by institutions provided vocational
and skill training program.
R3 The access to credit scheme for graduates to
start up and expand business is supported and
facilitated.
R4 The employment and business opportunities for
graduates and other skilled persons are
supported..
R5 The cooperation and coordination between
relevant institutions are strengthened to ensure
that training and employment policies and
strategic plan are adopted and implemented..
