GENERAL FACTS AND INFO

• Jet Vacations was established in 1986
• Later becoming Discount Travel Warehouse
• Came from the idea of the discount travel shops
  of Great Britain and Australia.
• Provides cheap flights/packages year round.
• Offices were opened in Winnipeg, Calgary,
  Edmonton, Vancouver, Regina and Saskatoon.
• Jet Vacations was sold in September 2005 to My
  Travel, a major travel corporation in Ontario.
• The Calgary and Edmonton offices were closed May
  2006 and are now combined with the Winnipeg
  office.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide information about travel to customers
• Make bookings
• As a senior agent my responsibilities include the
  following
• Open and close the store
• Check junior agents bookings once completed
• Deal with problem files when no manager is
  available
• Make group bookings (1o people or more)
• Check tickets and ensure passengers receive them
• Book regular scheduled flights
