Planning for H1N1 flu

    disabled residents)

  • June 2009 H1N1 exposure
  • Incidence in residents 2/275 (0.4)
  • Incidence in staff 60/800 (7.5)
  • Residents were receiving supplementary vitamin D3
    and being tested for serum 25-OH-D3 there was no
    systematic supplementation for staff
  • Personal hygiene
  • Stay home if you have
  • Fever (100oF 37.8oC)
  • Cough or sore throat
  • Come back to class when
  • Fever-free for 24 hr (without fever medication)
