Packing for the Trip
  • You have been given a list of items to bring
  • As a chaperon you may bring a cell phone
  • You may also bring extra food as long as it is
    kept in your car and out of access of the
    students

Morning of Camp
  • Arrive at the school at 630 am
  • Check in with Teacher
  • Schedules
  • Group Lists
  • If you are driving you will need to make sure we
    load student items into your car because there is
    not enough room on the bus for all their
    belongings
  • You may only transport your child in your car

Schedule for the first day
  • Change for Lake
  • Lake Fun
  • Clean up
  • Supper
  • Night activities
  • Lights OUT
  • 10pm
  • Arrive at camp (about 1000)
  • Take things to cabins
  • Orientation
  • Dinner
  • First Day Classes
  • Snack Time

Chaperoning Groups
  • Day Groups
  • 2 or more chaperones per group
  • No more than 12 students
  • Mixed Gender chaperones and students
  • 2 groups will be together at each activity cluster

Day Responsibilities
  • Attend all activities with the students
  • Monitor students at all times
  • Use a buddy system
  • Make sure students Have water at all times
  • Poor Behavior (teachers will handle)
  • First Aid

Lake Responsibilities
  • Prepare students for Lake
  • Monitor students at lake
  • Follow all safety regulations
  • Monitor at Canoes kayaks

Night Responsibilities
  • Attend Night activities with the students
  • Remind about flashlights
  • Buddy system
  • Ensure cleanliness of students cabins
  • Enforce bedtime

Other responsibilities
  • Monitor Free Time
  • Stay at camp
  • Night before we leave
  • Make sure the cabins are clean
  • Make sure the students are packed to leave

Boys Cabins
  • Bobcat
  • Quail
  • Community Restroom Facilities in the middle

Girls Cabin
  • Cougar
  • Teachers
  • Administrators (bottom Floor)

Horseback Riding
  • Chaperones and Teachers CANNOT Ride with the
    children
  • Adult Rides may be available
  • Make sure you fill out Release of Liability in
    your folder if you would like to ride.

Medication
  • Administrator at camp will administer meds
  • First Aid
  • Do NOT administer meds to children other than
    your own
