• 2. Sustainable Development is a process by which
  all people realise their potential and improve
  their quality of life in ways that do not destroy
  the earths life support systems. Sustainable
  development will therefore adhere to ecological
  conditions that are a prerequisite for economic
  success.
• We will encourage economic activity that
  utilises environmental assets and provides social
  benefits in a sustainable manner, respecting
  environmental limits
• We will maximise resource efficiency, recovery
  and remanufacturing, seeking to achieve
  sustainable consumption and production patterns
