• Publish a journal of its proceedings
• Meet concurrently and cannot adjourn for
  more than three days without the consent of
  the other house

• Members of Congress are compensated for their
  service
• Pay is determined by Law
• Payment is made by the Treasury

• Passing Bills
• Bills for Raising Revenue originate in the
  House
• After passing both houses a bill must be
  presented to the President before
  becoming law

• ? Congress can override a Presidential veto with
  a 2/3 vote
• In veto votes names are recorded in the journal
• The President has ten days to sign a bill or it
  becomes law
