Calendar Data published by Current Ops
(externally) is shared at the data layer. When
events are added, changed, or deleted by the
Current Ops Bookie, the status is automatically
displayed on the calendar. Squadrons do not have
to re-define scheduled flying events (from
Current Ops) or scheduled training events (from
Wing Training).
5
Calendar display option Filter Allows user to
select the content to be displayed on the
calendar

External Link to Music Another agency maintains
the mission scheduling application, Music. There
is a shared security between the web servers.
This means users do not have to log in to the
target system after clicking on the
link. Calendar dates are links to the LIVE,
published AOD in Music.

still future, and the change from Current Ops
generated a numbered change then the event is
highlighted
15
Tricks of the Trade Web page log-in sessions
time-out after predetermined time periods. To
keep-alive this session, so the user does not
have to log back into the application, a small
file is included with the page content. This
included page auto-refreshes every five minutes,
restarting the session expiration clock. Users
are not aware of any activity on the page.
16
Sequence of Events Start Time/Date and Stop
Time/Date are external data fields. All others
are derived from a matrix based on Crew Type
field. AirLand vs Airdrop and Local vs Overseas
determine offsets. All times managed in Zulu,
displayed in Zulu and Local
17
Sequence of Events Options User selectable Pre
Crew Rest, Post Crew Rest, and SRT based on
mission needs
18
Sequence of Events AOD information pulled
live from MUSIC.
19
Sequence of Events Air Refuel button is
displayed if there is AR information. Link
opens live MUSIC data Since AR data is not
always applicable, this popup prevents consuming
page real estate when it is not needed
20
Sequence of Events Change acknowledgement.
ORANGE items are changes/addons. They are
acknowledged
21
Sequence of Events Once the order has been
completed, it can be accessed conveniently from
the SOE area. This has made it easier on users
still using a single monitor.
