The rules of consultation
  • The first rule is to identify the problem
    precisely
  • Limit the scope of the problem
  • Never interrupt the other person
  • Do not reply to an accusation with another
    accusation
  • Choose the right time and place for a discussion
  • Maintain a margin of respect
  • Avoid talking about the past
  • Avoid mentioning the other persons weak points
  • Consider the discussion to be a result of mutual
    behaviour
