Progress Report ILDG Middleware

• New domain for Japan Lattice community
  jldg.org
• JLDG site www.jldg.org is now running
• MDC WS http//ws.jldg.org/axis/services/mdc
• Using Exist XML database
• SQL backend not ready.
• Actual data is stored and served.
• RC WS http//ws.jldg.org/axis/services/rc
• Simple WS one-to-one mapping from LFN to
  Transfer URL
• No SRM
• File transfer by httpd http//www.jldg.org/
• Simple access control by .htaccess (by wget for
  registered users)
• We are planning to provide interface with gsiftp.
• The development was supported by NII National
  Institute for Informatics for promoting the
  development of ILDG middleware.

• JLDG Japan Lattice Data Grid
• New grid infrastructure for Lattice community in
  Japan
• File Sharing with GFarm Global File System

• GSI authentication managed by VOMS
• Use NAREGI/KEK CA (international)
• Use JLDG CA (local)
• Some part of configuration data can be open to
  the ILDG by registering with metadata
• Status
• Prototype system between Tsukuba and KEK has been
  tested.

Plan Schedule

• ILDG middleware and severs
• MDC/RC is now working
• Interoperable testing for file exchange with GSI
• Almost done for getting data
• Still some work is needed to provide gsiftp
  interface.
• Establish VO management for JLDG members

• Move from prototype to production (by March
  2007)
• Expanding two-sites (Tsukuba and KEK) to the
  major sites in Lattice community of Japan
