What is Recycling?

• Recycling is the name of reusing things again and
  again .
• For example we should recycle paper, so we dont
  have to cut down trees.

Why?

• Because then we wont waste materials and its
  healthier for the enviroment.
• Because of all our rubbish, its wasting land and
  there isnt much room left, so we should keep
  recycling so that we dont use up all of the land.

Did You Know...?

• That each year the UK uses around 12 billion
  steel cans?
• Thats nearly 600 cans for every household!!!

What Can We Recycle?

• We can recycle all different kind of materials,
  such as
• Food Cans
• Drinks Cans
• Pet Food Cans
• Aerosols and Household Cans
• Promotional Packaging e.g Confectionery

What Can you Do?

• You can play your part by getting your recyclable
  objects and putting them into your recycling bin.
  You use your brown bin to put your garden waste
  in, your blue box for glass and jar tops, and
  your bag for paper. The bin men will then collect
  it and take it from there.
