• It is my pleasure to tell you about the
  miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High
  God has performed for me.
• How great are his signs,
• how mighty his wonders!
• His kingdom is an eternal kingdom
• his dominion endures from generation to

It is good to find reason to praise God. Well
maybe it would be better to say Overwhelming
evidence gives strong proofs as to Gods
greatness and every reason to give Him His due
Glory, Honor, and Praise!

King Nebuchadnezzar learned that he was not as
big or powerful as he thought

• King Neb did not have anything that was not given
  him
• King Neb did not command the power he thought he
  possessed
• King Neb learned that there is danger in even
  times of peace and prosperity.
• King Neb was trainable, praise God.

King Nebs inner dialogue

• Dan 428 About twelve months later, I was
  walking on the flat roof of my royal palace and
  admiring the beautiful city of Babylon, when
  these things started happening to me. I was
  saying to myself,
• "Just look at this wonderful capital city that I
  have built by my own power and for my own glory!"

Who can know your inner thoughts?

• You!
• The Angels (good ones)?
• The Demons?
• Satan?
• Fellow man?
• God! (Psl.1392)

Are we held accountable for our inner thoughts?

God is Merciful !

• Dan 434 Finally, I prayed to God in heaven, and
  my mind was healed. Then I said "I praise and
  honor God Most High. He lives forever, and his
  kingdom will never end.
• Dan 435 To him the nations are far less than
  nothing God controls the stars in the sky and
  everyone on this earth. When God does something,
  we cannot change it or even ask why."
• Dan 436 At that time my mind was healed, and
  once again I became the ruler of my glorious
  kingdom. My advisors and officials returned to
  me, and I had greater power than ever before.

There is abundant reason to praise God, who is
the Almighty!

• Dan 437 That's why I say "Praise and honor the
  King who rules from heaven! Everything he does is
  honest and fair, and he can shatter the power of
  those who are proud."

Is this yet true today?

• Can God get through the web of radio waves and
  micro waves and all the satellite broadcastings
  to earth? Can God penetrate the height of our
  science and technology and still exercise his
  power and might and judgment and even his mercies?

• Yes He can.
• Yes He does.
• Yes He will.

• Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and
  forever.

What was the purpose of Nebs experience?

• Dan 417 This punishment is given at the command
  of the holy angels. It will show to all who live
  that God Most High controls all kingdoms and
  chooses for their rulers persons of humble
  birth.'

humanity now?

What should be our response to this?

• Rom 1411ff

It is written " As surely as I live,' says the
Lord, every knee will bow before me every
tongue will confess to God.' " 12 So then, each
of us will give an account of himself to God. 13
Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one
another. Instead, make up your mind not to put
any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's
way.

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every
name,10 that at the name of Jesus every knee
should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the
earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always
obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much
more in my absence--continue to work out your
salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is
God who works in you to will and to act according
to his good purpose.
