9Frequently Asked Questions
- Q1. If I am a backup Access Administrator, do I
still need to complete the certification?
A1. Possibly. If you are a backup Access
Administrator, you should coordinate
certification of WebLinks with your primary
Access Administrator. Please also note that you
must review your report to ensure your report is
exactly the same as the primarys report.
Q2. How do I remove access to a WebLinks user
that has a different home department?
A2. First, contact the WebLinks users home
department Access Administrator to verify access
is no longer needed. If it is no longer needed,
ask the access administrator to remove access.
Currently, there is a system problem that will
not allow access administrators to remove access
when the user has a different home department.
10Frequently Asked Questions Continued
- Q3. Can I have different privileges for different
dept codes?
A3. No, you must have the same privileges for all
dept codes in WebLinks. For Example If a
userid has dept code 123456 with GL and AP/PO
privileges and the Access Administrator assigns
an additional dept code of 678910 with only
DPEUSER privileges, that userid will now have
only DPEUSER access privileges for all assigned
dept codes, the GL and AP/PO privileges are now
wiped out for 123456.
