• Secondary Dentin - is formed and deposited in
  response to a normal or slightly abnormal
  stimulus, after the complete formation of the
  tooth.
• Tertiary dentin forms as a result of trauma
• Reparative or reactionary dentin (transparent or
  sclerotic)

• Odontoblast processes (Tomes fibers)
• Enamel spindles
• Matrix vesicles
• Predentin (unmineralized)
• Globular (many foci fuse) and linear
  calcification
