Status

• TS 21849 Edition 1 publication is held up by
  two issues.
• An International Agency agrees to act as the
  ISO Registration Authority for the assignment of
  Commercial and Government Entity ( CAGE) Code.
• An organization to handle future enhancements.
• Several organizations have asked for additional
  element identifiers.

Status

• ISO Central Secretariat felt there was
  sufficient technical changes to require an
  edition 2.
• Edition 2 will have two conformance classes.
• TC20 WG 13 will hold a review in Geneva in
  September 2002.
• Edition 2 will be submitted for either TS or
  DIS balloting in October 2002.
