- Students are specially selected for admission to
the U of T MBiotech Program through a stringent
admissions policy. A combined third and fourth
year average of 80 or above is required. - Approximately 24 students per year are accepted
to the MBiotech Program - Students are expected to have an exceptional
academic and personal profile.

6Full Time Students Take 13 Graduate Courses Over
a 24-month Period.
- 5 Science Courses
- 3 Business Courses
- 2 Seminar Courses
- 2 or 3 Four-Month Placements
- 1 Elective

10MBiotech Students are Available for Short or Long
Term Placements
- Placements are a minimum of four months and are
offered throughout the year. (January, May and
September) - Employers have the option to recruit for 4, 8 or
12 month terms - A variety of students from diverse backgrounds
are available for internships
11To Hire MBiotech Interns
- Please forward job description(s) and interview
dates to our Corporate Liaison Coordinator. - You will receive resumes from interested students
within one week. - After the interviews, the preferred candidate is
presented with an employment offer. Once the
offer is accepted the employer confirms hiring
details in a letter to the student.

13Tax Credits are Provided in Return for Investing
in Co-op Students
- "To help Ontario's University and College
students gain work experience and enhance their
future employment opportunities, the 1996 Ontario
Budget announced a new refundable tax credit for
businesses hiring students enrolled in a
recognized post-secondary co-operative education
program. - Ministry of Finance Tax Legislation Bulletin
August 1996 - As of September 1, 1996, tax credits of up to
1,000/4-month co-op work term are being offered
to eligible employers.
