CEMSuite Plus

• CEMSuite is a comprehensive, data logging package
  designed to work with continuous emissions
  monitoring systems. For some analysers with a
  serial output, the data can be exported directly
  to the host PC also, data can be acquired from
  systems with analogue outputs using our advanced
  interface unit.
• The data is stored on the PC hard drive and is
  used for real-time presentation, historical
  graphing, alarms and customised reports. CEMSuite
  has advanced graphing capabilities to provide
  stunning visual displays of data to enable
  operators to clearly understand what is
  happening in their process and gives the ability
  to correct excursions before they become serious.

CEMSuite Plus

• CEMSuite Plus is a data acquisition and reporting
  program that gathers data from either a single
  AMS or a number of groups of AMS.
• It is designed to run on a p.c. using a Windows
  operating system.
• It performs real-time data normalisation for
  pressure, temperature, oxygen and moisture.
• It can capture data from 8 separate stacks, each
  with up to 16 gas/dust/pressure/temperature and
  process parameters.
• Storage capacity is dependent on the size of the
  hard drive but normally about 10 years with a
  20GB hard drive.
• Data can be displayed in text or graphical
  format.
• Audible and visual alarms are available to warn
  operators of upset conditions.
• CEMSuite is compliant with WID, LCPD and IPPC

CEMSuite Plus Components

• CEMSuite consists of five inter-connected
  programs-
• a) CEMCfg - sets up and stores all the required
  parameters such as normalisation and process data
• b) CEMComm - collects data directly from the
  analyser or an Interface unit and stores it on
  the hard drive
• c) CEMForm - the main data presentation program
• d) CEMPort - a data management system that
  configures stored data for printing in report
  form or export to other programs such as
  spreadsheets and databases
• e) CEMQual a module for calculating and
  displaying the QAL2, QAL3 and AST elements of BS
  EN 14181

CEMForm

• CEMForm is the display module for CEMSuite Plus
  and measurement data is displayed in
  alpha-numeric and graphical form
• CEMForm converts raw data from the database into
  a number of forms including mg/m3 and mg/Nm3
  using normalising data.
• The trend screen shows graphical trends for
  selected measurands over user defined periods.
  This allows the operator to investigate incidents
  and long term trends
• The trend screen also shows the plant status (on
  or off) and whether the averaged data is valid,
  according to European standards.
• Two alarm thresholds are provided to advise
  operators when limits are being exceeded
• An event log is provided so that explanations for
  events can be recorded by the operator

CEMForm Control screen

• The Control screen has been devised for processes
  such as incineration and Gas turbines where the
  operator can control the process to regulate
  emissions levels.
• The screen works off a pre-determined block
  average period (normally 30/15 minutes)and
  enables the operator to view the current average
  and the new average required to meet the ELV.
• The screen also displays the number of valid
  minute averages within the block average
• Using this page operators will able to regulate
  their emissions so that they never exceed the ELV

CEMPort

• CEMPorts main function is to summarise the
  emission data into a format for submission to the
  environmental authorities or for internal
  reporting or analysis.
• CEMPort enables an operator to create
  professional looking reports that can be output
  to a printer or saved to file. The program makes
  full use of Windows embedded printing facilities.
  Furthermore, data can be exported in CSV, HTML or
  Excel format to enable users to create their own
  reports.
• The WID report is the standard format report for
  the EA and shows all the required parameters.

• There are three types of report available,
  Summary, Convert and Alarm. The format of the
  Summary report may be configured by the user to

• This is the report requested by the Environment
  Agency from WID controlled sites.
• It is easy to configure by the operator and
  performs all the calculations automatically.

CEMQual

• CEMQual is a module designed to assist operators
  comply with the requirements of BS EN 14181
• It accepts data input manually or retrieved from
  the CEMForm database automatically
• It can perform all the key calculations for QAL2,
  AST and QAL3
• It can produce CUSUM, Shewart and moving median
  graphs
• All graphs and spreadsheet data can be printed or
  output as a JPEG picture.
• Fully compliant with EN 14181 and validated by
  AEA Technology
• With the addition of CEMCAL software and an
  Envirosoft supplied valve system, automatic zero
  and span tests can be undertaken at
  pre-determined intervals.

• The DSU provides long term raw data storage
  (20Gb) and data back up
• It carries out high speed data communications
• It can provide data re-transmission from serial
  to analogue

  turned off for any period
