The Challenge

• Pre 9/11 only 2 of containers/trailers entering
  the USA were inspected
• Post 9/11, X-Border security issues have
  magnified
• Burden and disruption of extra security could
  cripple business and place heavy costs on
  shipping industry
• Since 9/11 there are new concerns regarding
  dangerous goods being placed in containers prior
  to border crossing i.e. contaminated goods,
  weapons, explosives or illegal persons

• Yard BOSSTM RB-100 is a portable, external yard
  security sensor designed to protect containers
  and trailers stored in port facilities and
  storage yards.
• The Yard System can interrogate up to 2,000
  trailers every two minutes and detects door
  opening or tampering within a range of 5 to 10
  miles from the dispatch office.
• Yard BOSSTM software allows dispatch personnel
  the flexibility of monitoring all containers,
  providing complete security.

• The Road BOSSTM RB-200 is designed specifically
  to secure cargo during transit. The Unit attaches
  to both locking rods of the container/tractor
  trailer and transmits to the pager receiver,
  alerting the driver of any door tampering.
• The RB-200 integrates with most satellite-based
  asset tracking systems to provide information in
  real time on door seal integrity, checking in
  every 10 seconds.

• The RB-300 is an internal unit, designed to
  protect tractor-trailers, delivery trucks and
  vans from the inside and works in conjunction
  with a pager receiver carried by the driver.
• The RB-300 integrates with most satellite-based
  asset tracking systems to provide information in
  real time on door seal integrity, checking in
  every 10 seconds.

BOSSTM Receiver/Pager
Pager option is designed for use with or without
satellite tracking systems and works with the
RB-200 or RB-300. The receiver/pager allows a
driver to monitor the following conditions

• System Armed
• System in Alarm
• Battery Condition in Pager
• Battery Condition in Transmitter
• Out of Range (up to 5 miles from tractor-trailer)
