  between elite athletes or medals, but also it
  means a festival, entertainment of people from
  different races/countries/ languages.
• It is a universal activity providing contact
  between cultures.
• It means everyone breathing the same peaceful and
  respectful atmosphere.

• Games is one of the events that goes to the
  widest society in the world by the help of the
  televisions and satellites nowadays and thus
  Olympic games is regarded as medium for public
  education.
• Showing admired people together in fair-play will
  affect youths watching them since they take them
  as role models.

• Olympism seeks to create a way of life based on
  the joy found in effort, the educational value of
  a good example and respect for universal
  fundamental ethical principles. - Pierre de

• Coubertin, being the man who revived the modern
  Olympic games, stated the importance of taking
  Olympics as a life philosophy and therefore
  people will have values that can help the world
  being a better place to live.

• - Generosity
• - Unity
• - Friendship
• - Non-discrimination
• - Respect for others
• Believing in these qualities and applying them to
  real-life will lead, firstly your environment,
  secondly the world to become a more peaceful and
  viable place to live in.
