• Thus says the Lord GOD O my people, I will open
  your graves and have you rise from them, and
  bring you back to the land of Israel.
• Then you shall know that I am the LORD, when I
  open your graves and have you rise from them, O
  my people!

1st reading

• Israel in exile were as good as dead, like
  corpses scattered on the battlefield. Then the
  impossible happened!!! God breathed life in them,
  suddenly everything changed and all things seem
  new.

2nd Reading

• Paul said that it isnt flesh that animates us
  but Gods Spirit. We may seem dead because of
  sin, but we are brought to life through the
  indwelling of the Spirit.

Gospel

• Lazarus is dying. Word was to Jesus about this.
  When Jesus arrived in Martha and Marys place,
  Lazarus is already dead.
• Jesus tells them that he will bring Lazarus back
  to life. They dont believe Him.
• Jesus went to the tomb and raised Lazarus back to
  life.

• Think of the person you dislike most maybe you
  even hate
• Think of the person you dont like to talk to,
  maybe because he/she has hurt you, or did
  something very unkind to you

• Do you think that person can change?... From bad
  to good?

Which is easier to believe?
a person I dislike changing for the better.
a dead man rising back to life.

Do we really believe in the resurrection?

• That a bad man can change ones life to good?
• That we too, can change?
• That a man dead in sin, can rise again to new
  life?

• Jesus tells us, "I am the resurrection and the
  life whoever believes in me, even if he dies,
  will live, and everyone who lives and believes in
  me will never die. Do you believe this?"
