2Jornada Distribution
- Cart contain 32 computers, 8 on each shelf
- Start with the top shelf
- Start from the front of the shelf
3Jornada Distribution
- Unplug the Jornada from its power supply
- When returning the computer, plug it back in
- When returning, start at the back of the shelf
4Holding the Jornada
hold the computer securely

keep the Jornada on the lab bench or desk and
away from liquids
5Ejecting the Jornada Pen
push on the front edge of the pen to eject it.
Pull it the rest of the way out
Only use the Jornadas pen for tapping the
screen. Do not use any other pen or pencil
6Wireless Networking
the Jornada is part of a wireless network system
green light blinks slowly when connected to the
network
7Tap and Double-Tap
support the screenwith your other hand
hold the pen close to the tipand close to the
screen
tap the screen lightly do not hammer it !
8Resetting the Jornada
Occasionally, the Jornada may have to be reset to
restore it to proper operation. It takes about
15 seconds to complete the reset process.
