Provide a Description
  • Create a picture
  • Use all of the senses you can to help the reader
    visualize what you are describing

Provide Dialogue
  • Make up dialogue or remember dialogue
  • Something you said, or a parent said or another
    person said

Imagine and Create a Scenario
  • Try to imagine taking a friend there, or your
    next visit or what it would be like to describe
    it to a friend

Give an Example
  • Give an example of something special you would do
    or see or experience there.

Explain or Define Words
  • Think of something that might be unclear to the
    reader and explain it to them
  • Perhaps you are thinking that . . .

  • Think of something you havent added to create a
    greater picture
  • For example you could describe the food you eat
    there

Elaborate
  • Pick at least one detail to elaborate in revised
    paper.
  • Make sure to create a string of at least 3
    sentences to fully explain this detail

  • Create a book end to match the intro
  • Check your opening statement and close on the
    same note.
