What is Apresso?
  • Allows the creator to add running audio and video
  • Creates a self-contained presentation that can be
    run on computer or sent of the web
  • Allows the user to control the delivery method

Five Steps to Apreso
  • Prepare a PowerPoint presentation
  • Develop what you want to say During the
    presentation
  • Begin recording
  • Review the show
  • Export file

Step 1 The PowerPoint
  • Be sure that your presentation is clear
  • Do not use full sentences
  • PowerPoint is designed to show points the the
    presenter will elaborate on

Step 2 Develop what you want to say
  • This is essentally your script
  • Elaborate on the points you want to make and the
    things you want to say

Step 3 Begin Recording
  • At this point you will have to configure Apreso
    if it has not been done already
  • This is done by pushing the Configure Apreso
    button

  • Follow the configuration steps
  • Begin recording by pushing the Start Presentation
    Capture button

  • All of the neccsary buttons are found in the
    Apreso tool bar in the top corner of the
    PowerPoint window

Step 4 Review the Show
  • Check the show for any
  • Spelling errors
  • Unclear langauge
  • Other issue that concern you

Step 5 Export
  • To export the show use the Manage and Distribute
    button on the tool bar
  • Follow the steps to complete the show

Points to remember
  • Make you text slightly larger than you normally
    would as the viewing area is slightly smaller
    than usual
  • Use the special effects of PowerPoint sparingly
    as excess may cause stuttering during video
    capture
