Le religioni del libro(The religions of the book)

• Anche se Cassirer ritiene che la religione sia il
  naturale proseguimento del mito, dobbiamo
  trattare le cosidette religioni del libro
  (Ebraismo,Cristianesimo,Islamismo) in modo diverso

• Even if Cassirer considers that the religion is
  the natural prosecution of the myth, we must deal
  the so-called religions of the book (Judaism,
  Christianity, Islamism) in various way.

Tabu, purificazione,morale(Taboo, purification,
moral)

• Cassirer ritiene che la religione di Zoroastro
  attui il passaggio tra sistema dei tabu e della
  purificazioni (tipico delle religioni mitiche)al
  sistema della legge morale garantita appunto da
  un dio unico Ahura Mazda.

• Cassirer considers that the religion of Zoroaster
  exactly puts into effect the passage between
  system of the taboo and the purifications
  (typical of the mythical religions) to the system
  of the guaranteed moral law from a God only Ahura
  Mazda.p.189.

Scelta delle due vie Chosen of the two ways

• E' la scelta delle due vie il bene e il male.
• Potremmo dire che il sistema del tabu e della
  purificazione non equivale alla scelta tra il
  bene e il male.La purificazione è soprattutto
  fisica (lavare il corpo)

• It is the choice of the two ways the good and the
  evil.
• We could say that the system of the taboo and the
  purification is not equivalent to the choice
  between the good and the evil. The purification
  is above all physical (to wash the body)

Tabu (Taboo)

• Il tabu è invece fisico e spirituale
  (contaminazione con i morti, colpa morale) e
  dunque non è evitabile.
• Esprime il concetto del Noli me tangere ma non è
  facilmente purificabile.

• The taboo is instead spiritual physicist and
  (contamination with the dead men, moral guilt)
  therefore he is not evitabile
• It expresses the concept of Noli me tangere but
  he is not easy purificabile.

Sistema del tabu vs divieti morali(System of the
taboo vs moral prohibition)

• Il tabu forma un sistema di divieti retti dalla
  paura. Il sistema dei divieti morali è retto
  dalla scelta libera
• Cassirer ritiene che la concezione di Zoroastro
  sia anche quella del Giudaismo,del Cristianesimo
  e dell'Islamismo

• The taboo forms a system of prohibition held from
  the fear. The system of the moral prohibition is
  held by the free choice
• Cassirer considers that the conception of
  Zoroaster is also that of the Judaism, the
  Christianity and the Islamism

Altri Caratteri (Other Characters)

• Cassirer non ritiene che siano importanti altri
  caratteri come l'idea di Bergson che ci siano due
  religioni una statica e l'altra dinamica e
  nemmeno che la religione sia una evoluzione della
  magia

• Cassirer does not consider that other characters
  are important as the idea of Bergson who are two
  religions statics and other dynamics and not
  even that the religion is an evolution of the
  magic

Religione e cultura(Religion and culture)

• Cassirer tuttavia evita di dire che la religione
  è importantissima per la cultura. Da Agostino a
  Kant (argomento ontologico di Anselmo) filosofia
  e religione sono in intimo contatto.

• Cassirer however avoids to say that the religion
  is most important for the culture. From Augustin
  to Kant (ontologico argument of Anselmo)
  philosophy and religion are in intimate contact.

Ebraismo e Cristianesimo(Judaism and Christianity)

• Per Carl Schmitt ogni concetto politico
  occidentale è un concetto religioso
  secolarizzato. Per Walter Benjamin l'attesa
  messianica può essere soddisfatta in ogni momento
  (anche dalla rivoluzione bolscevica)

• For Carl Schmitt every western political concept
  is a laicized religious concept. For Walter
  Benjamin the Messiah's wait can be satisfied at
  any moment (also from the bolscevica revolution)
