• Charlize and Sean possess the Oscars.
• Hint Their is never followed by a verb!!!

• Definition 1- toward, to, at, or into that place
• Ex Dont go over there.
• Definition 2- synonym for everything will be
  alright
• Ex There, there, you will be okay.
• Definition 3- a suggestion that one has
  accomplished something
• Ex There, my masterpiece is complete!
• Definition 3- used in impersonal constructions in
  which the real subject follows the verb
• Ex There are many states that still believe
  in capital punishment. (Notice the subject
  follows the verb are)

• when you see this word or want to use it in a
  sentence pull it apartthey are
• Does it make sense in the sentence?
• If not, its the wrong word!!
• Theyre dog was a cocker spaniel.
• They are dog was a cocker spaniel.
• It doesnt make sense!!!
• This sentence shows possession!! It should be
  their dog!
