Pre-evangelism
  • The term pre-evangelism includes the concept of
of building a relationship with a student. The
key thought to keep in mind could be termed
friendship in evangelism,' approaching someone as
a total person, not as a statistic.
Pre-evangelism creates an environment in which
the gospel is more readily and effectively
    received.
  • Adapted from The Dynamics of High School
Discipleship Campus Crusade for Christ High
    School Ministry.
  • Pre-evangelism is the obedient Christian going to
the non-Christian to be involved in his/her life.
  • Christians singing the tune of the Gospel

Evangelism
  • Evangelism is expressing what I possess in
Christ and explaining how I came to possess it.
In the truest sense, evangelism is displaying the
universals of Gods characterHis love, His
righteousness, His justice, and His faithful
nessthrough the particulars of my everyday life.
Therefore evangelism is not a special activity
to be undertaken at a prescribed time. It is the
constant and spontaneous outflow of our
individual and corporate experience of Christ.
Even more specifically, evangelism is what Christ
does through the activity of His children as they
are involved in (1) proclamation, (2) fellowship,
    and (3) service.
  • Joe Aldrich, Lifestyle Evangelism, p. 29.
  • Christians adding the words to the tune
