• Key trading partners are looking to reduce their
  emissions through reduction in their supply
  chain.
• Carbon labelling in being investigated and
  trialled by supermarkets
• Risk but also opportunity

What we are doing locally?

• Set up Future Footprints to run our
  sustainability activity
• Developed a relationship with Landcare Research
  to deliver their carboNZero programme
• Launched Green Drinks to connect interested
  people and help share information
• Initiated meeting of people working in
  sustainability
• Worked with APL to promote their sustainability
  kick-start assessment product.

What do we have planned

• Launch a sustainability speaker series
• Provide a video conference facility with
  connections through out the country for companies
  to use for meetings reduce cost and carbon
  footprint.
• Work with the MDC to look at further
  sustainability activity for the region.
