((THE STORY OF ZAMZAM WATER ))
The Prophet Ibrahim (pbuh) came to Makka with his
wife Haggar and their baby Ismail. He left his
family there on Allahs orders. Haggar and Ismail
consumed all the water and Ismail started to cry
Haggar was helpless, and started running from the
top of one hill ASAFA to the next ALMARWAH in
search of help She did that 7 times She
returned to Ismail when she heard a voice She
asked the voice for help. Gabriel (pbuh) hit the
ground and water came out Haggar covered the
hole with sand to prevent the water from spilling
out. That was Zamzam water A caravan was passing
by the valley and noticed birds hovering around
the water, which was never present before, so
they requested Haggars permission to camp near
the water. This marked the beginning of
Makka Civilization increased further after
Ibrahim and Ismail (pbut) built the Holy Mosque.
The Tribe Jurhum was the historical custodian of
the Holy Mosque until the Tribe Khuzah took
over. Around the 5th Century A.D. Qusay Ibn Kilab
was the custodian of the Holy Mosque and Zamzam.
Unfortunately the well was neglected and was
eventually buried. Abdul Muttalib Ibn Hashim, the
grandfather of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) dug the
well once more after the event of the Elephant
and Zamzam water emerged once again.

? Ibn Abbas and his father narrated that the
Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said The water of
Zamzam is the best water on Earth, it has the
feed of hunger and the recovery of illness. ?
Jabir Ibn Abdullah narrated that the Messenger of
Allah (pbuh) said Zamzam water is for the
purpose for which it was drunk.

if someone eats until he is satisfied. Recovery
of illness By the Grace of Allah and His Power,
Zamzam water heals illness. Imam Ibn Al-Jawziyah
said Zamzam water is the master and most
honourable of waters. It is the most beloved and
dearest water to the soul. I tried Zamzam water
and I recovered from several illnesses.

THE ETIQUETTE OF DRINKING ZAMZAM WATER
It is advisable that when we drink Zamzam water,
we should ? Face the direction of the
Qiblah. ? Say the Name of Allah. ? Thank Allah
Almighty. ? Say the du3a of Ibn Abbas. When Ibn
Abbas drank Zamzam he said Oh Lord, please
bestow me with useful knowledge, generous
livelihood and recovery from all
illness. However we should not confine
ourselves to this prayer, but should ask Allah
the Almighty for His bounty in this life and the
Thereafter. Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, on drinking
from Zamzam used to say Oh Lord, I drink Zamzam
for the thirst of the Day of Judgment.

STORY OF ZAMZAM
Zamzam water is the best in the Universe. And
Al-Kawthar Water is the best in the Next
Life. Some scholars stated that the best water
ever was the one that came through the fingers of
Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), followed by Zamzam
water, then Al-Kawthar Water, then the River Nile
water and then the rest of the rivers. Zamzam
well is located 18 meters from the Black Stone to
the East of the door of the Kaba, behind Maqam
Ibrahim. It is clearly marked by a sign ZAMZAM
WATER WELL which is 156 cm above the actual
well, under the Mattaf.

((SCIENTIFIC ANALYSIS OF ZAMZAM WATER ))
In 1908 and 1973, chemical analyses were
performed and proved that Zamzam water is indeed
free of germs or pollutants. It is considered a
mineral water, as its mineral content is 2000
mg/litre. It contained the following minerals
Calcium, Sodium, Magnesium, among many others.
Zamzam is the richest mineral water with Calcium
(200 mg/litre). The Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) was
truthful when he said Zamzam is the feed of
Hunger. Chemical tests proved that Zamzam water
is exceptionally pure and has neither colour nor
taste. By international health standards,
especially those of the World Health
Organization, Zamzam water is perfectly potable,
has good health results and has a high sodium
content. It was also discovered that by the Will
of God Almighty, on evaporation, mineral content
of Zamzam increases, however it has no adverse
results on health, on the contrary, it is
extremely beneficial. All the above tests
proved that Zamzam water is pure and potable as
per international standards, and can only confirm
the miracles of the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh), whom
Allah had said NOR DOES HE SPEAK OUT OF
CAPRICE. IT IS NOTHING BUT A REVELATION REVEALED
