Virtualised Service PlatformTopics and Scope

• Collect and resolve VSP requirements definitions
  involving main actors (Application Service
  Providers, Infrastructure Providers, )
• Foster mutual understanding of VSP issues across
  various contributing projects
• Drive joint contributions towards broader
  communities (e.g. standardization, Internet of
  Services, Future Internet, NEXOF-RA)
• Examine the role of the VSP in the Future
  Internet
• Identify other relevant FP7 stakeholders
• Monitor other Collaboration Groups to identify
  potential overlaps and points for collaboration.

• Define the objectives of the VSP working group
• Starting bring other FP7 projects on board
• Goals for the second half of 2008
• Obtain visibility in the Future Internet and
  other forums
• Network session in Lyon
• Identify areas for cooperation and goals of
  cooperation by year end
• Look at contribution to NEXOF-RA

• VSP working group established in April, 08
• Set-up of a web site for documentation, mail
  exploder, teleconferences for group sync.
• Identification of candidate topics for VSP
  collaboration (ongoing)
• Technical meeting of VSP stakeholders planned for
  11/08
• A network session on Advanced Technologies for
  Virtualized Service Platforms for the Future
  Internet was proposed for ICT2008 and garnered
  60 votes of supports.
