2Old way of measuring resolutions
(collective) For doublets the script
calculates the error (std/sqrt(2)) of the
differences between each BPM, and assigns to each
BPM of the doublet the same resolution. For
triplets the script fits the two external BPM
measurements and calculates de difference between
the measurement of the middle one and its
predicted value. The error of the distribution is
the resolution and it is assigned to the three
BPMs of the triplet. New way of measuring
resolutions (individual) It can only be
performed in a reference (better if it is in slot
0). It does a linear fit of all the BPMs not
using the BPM which we want to know the
resolution. It predicts a value for this BPM and
makes the difference with its real measurement.
The error on the distribution gives the
resolution for this BPM. The same is done with
the rest. Each BPM has a different resolution.
