• LESSON OBJECTIVES
• Students will orally read and discuss the book
  Horrible Harry and the Holidaze
• by Suzy Kline
• Students will research the 5 winter Holidays
  discussed in the book and list 3
• traditions/activities related to each
  holiday.
• Using a graphic organizer students will write a 7
  paragraph assignment. This will
• include an introduction, paragraph about
  each holiday with minimum of 3
• traditions/activities discussed and a
  closing paragraph. Each paragraph will be
• a minimum of 3 sentences.
• Students grades will be based on number of
  paragraphs, paragraph length and
• using correct form, grammar,
  capitalization, punctuation and spelling.
• 5. Students will pass a reading counts test on
  the book.
