Manipulating Tables

• BOA Xi allows for the following table changes
• Resize columns and rows
• Move columns in the table
• Change the titles of columns
• Move whole tables

Resizing Columns

• Use drag and drop to resize a table column

Resizing Rows
The data rows are resized, but not the header row

Resizing Header Rows
The header row is resized, but the data rows are
not affected

Moving Columns

• Move columns by dragging them

• Select a column you want to move

• Drag and drop the column to a new location

Changing Column Titles
Double click on the column title you want to
change
Type new text in formula bar
Press the Enter key

Moving Tables
Select the table and click on the upper left
corner to get cross hairs
Move the cross hair to a new location

Moving a Report Title
Click on the title
Click and hold down the left mouse button
Drag and drop the title to a new location

Applying Calculations

• BOA Xi has many automatic calculation functions

Sorting Data

• BOA Xi lets you sort the data in columns
• Ascending order - A to Z, 0 to 9, dates past to
  present
• Descending order - Z to A, 9 to 0, dates present
  to past

By default the left column is sorted A to Z

Applying a Sort
Click on the column you want to sort
Click the Apply/Remove Sort button on the
Toolbar
Make your choice
